We're the Royal accordion orchestra "Dansende Vingers" – which is Dutch for Dancing Fingers – from Oudsbergen in Belgium.
We received the title of Royal association after celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2017.
The ensemble was founded in 1967 by Simone Indenhoek. Her son Luc Papens is conducting the band nowadays.
The foundation of the band is a close group of music enthusiasts who love to play music together and have fun playing for others!
The orchestra brings a fresh and modern sound to the accordion landscape with modern arrangements and new compositions written by Luc, but also thanks to the attention for detail and musicality we learned from Simone. The rhythm sections in the back delivers some extra punch and makes "Dansende Vingers" what they are: an energetic accordion orchestra!
